It is essential that you bring a current referral from your family doctor. Typically, a referral from your primary care physician (General practitioner) is vaild for 12 months and referrals from other specialists are valid for 3 months. A referral allows you to claim benefits from Medicare for eligible services.

We cannot submit medicare claims on your behalf without a valid referral. You will have to approach medicare to claim benefits. You will have to settle accounts on the day of consultation. We will not adjust date of service on invoices.

Yes. 
If you do not have an eligible medicare card in Australia, we do not require a referral from primary care physician (General practitioner). Please check with your Health Insurance Company if they need a GP referral to approve you claims for services accessed at our clinic. We will not adjust date of service or backdate invoices. You will have to settle accounts on the day of consultation. 
We recommend you arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointments. We advise you wear comfortable outfit that can be easily removed to facilitate clinical examination and tests. 
 
  • Initial consultation - 30-60 minutes. 
  • Echo- 30-60 minutes. 
  • Stress testing - 30-60 minutes. 
  • Pacemaker check - 20-40 minutes. 
  • Holter monitor / Heart Bug initiation - 20-40 minutes.

We believe in accessible and affordable health care for all patients. For cardiology consultations, Echocardiogram and Stress Echocardiogram are usually bulk billed at our clinic for patients with a valid referral that confers to the updated MBS standards for cardiac imaging released on 1 August 2020.

It is essential that you bring your current referral from your family doctor.  Referral from GPs are vaild for 12 months and referrals from specialists are valid for only 3 months. A referral allows you to claim benefits from Medicare for eligible services. 
You can still access care at our clinic without a valid referral. However you will have to pay 100% fees and settle accounts on the day of the service. We will not back-date invoices.
